The Capital City of Warsaw holds an insurance policy under which all claims arising from civil liability are processed.
You can report a claim by contacting the insurer – PZU S.A.:

- by telephone on: 801 102 102 or (022) 566 55 55;
- by sending an SMS with the text SZKODA to 4102 – PZU will call you back and take your claim;
- in person at a PZU S.A. branch;
- by sending a claim to: kontakt@pzu.pl
When reporting a claim, please provide the relevant policy number of the Capital City of Warsaw:
- Policy No. 1102712717 – for claims occurring between 1 January 2025 and 31 December 2025
- Policy No. 1067587778-2 – for claims arising between 1 January 2024 and 31 December 2024
- Policy No. 1067587778-1 – for claims arising between 1 January 2023 and 31 December 2023

The insurer may request that you provide the necessary documentation regarding the case, e.g.:
- a description of the circumstances and course of events, including the date and time the damage occurred,
- photographs of the scene of the damage, or alternatively a sketch illustrating the course of events,
- the type of obstacle, including its shape and dimensions,
- a photograph of the tree that caused the damage,
- a description of the injuries sustained, together with medical records,
- statements from witnesses to the incident,
- photocopies of receipts and invoices,
- information on the amount of compensation claimed and documents supporting the claim, e.g. a repair estimate,
- and any other documents necessary for the consideration of the case.
